Community Gardens
Not only do community gardens make the area nicer for everyone to live but it also creates a sense of unity for the citizens. There are only positive outcomes when people are involved in creating planting these gardens. The environment is also benefited from it and makes it more sustainable. Also, by involving children they are teaching them valuable life lessons while having fun. They learn the importance of community, real world experiences, and also the importance of taking care of the environment. Also, parents who involve their children in community gardens typically have a greater respect for the environment and eat healthier than families who are not as involved in the environment and the community. Overall, community garden involvement is beneficial to everyone in the area and will greatly influence the sustainability of society.
